Dawn Mariano

Dawn has a Bachelor's degree in Early Education from National-Louis University. She has had seven years of experience as a preschool teacher and preschool director in addition to teaching kindergarten, first and second grade. She is also a member of NAEYC, the National Association of Education. She and her family are originally from Chicago. She is a member of Word of Life Church.

Julie Tsuchiya

Ms. Julie began at our school as a parent and is now a part of our team at Word of Life . Julie grew up in Oregon and went to college in Seattle,WA. Julie has worked in preschools as a teaching assistant and also opened a small preschool in Oregon called Sandcastles. In 2000, she moved to  San Diego to persue her Bachelor's degree in Interior Design. In 2004, she moved to Surprise and worked in the interior design field where she designed model homes in the Valley. Julie is married with 3 children, an avid Oregon Ducks fan, and is a "crafter" at heart.  She is a member of  Word of Life Church.

Preschool - 3 year olds

Kim Oberdieck

Ms. Kim began working at Word of Life as a teaching assistant in 2005. After obtaining her Preschool certificate, she moved into a lead teacher position. Kim is the lead teacher in our 3 year old classroom. Kim is originally from the Dallas, Texas area, is married and has two sons and a daughter.

Jennifer Klein

Ms. Jennifer started out as a parent with children attending Word of Life Preschool and has now joined our team of teachers.   Jennifer has earned her Bachelor's degree from Purdue University and her Master's in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. She has a son and two daughters. 

Linda Bandauskas

Ms. Linda has her CDA  and over 30 college credit hours in Early Childhood Education. She has taught all ages of preschoolers and sat as director  of  a Lutheran preschool in Illinois as well. Ms. Linda is an active member of NAEYC, National Association of Education for Young Children. She has come to us with a lifelong love for educating children and over 25 years of experience inside the classroom.

KINDERPREP

Sylvia Tribelhorn

Ms. Sylvia is our Kinder Prep teacher and has been at Word of Life since 2005. Sylvia started her own preschool through Kindergarten school in Pennsylvania after receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education. Sylvia was also in administration for the Carlsbad Education Foundation in California. Sylvia's passion is educating young students and preparing them for Kindergarten. 

I chose Word of Life Christian School because of the friendly staff and teachers. I know that it’s a preschool and not just childcare.-Jewelie E.
